On The 6 is the debut studio album from US singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, originally released in June 1999. The album achieved sales in excess of 3 million copies in the US alone and achieved multi-platinum status in many other international territories. The album produced the hit singles ‘If You Had My Love’ and ‘Waiting For Tonight’ as well as the fan favourite ‘Let’s Get Loud’ which can still be heard echoing around sporting stadiums and across sports TV Channels to this day. It launched a successful career for Jennifer Lopez who along with the likes of Ricky Martin, Shakira and Marc Anthony, blazed a trail for Latino artists. Something that very much remains in modern music.
